The person had typed something at the "little prompt-thing" and then their computer had _insulted_ him! The support person, somewhat confused, assured the caller that their computers were not programmed to insult the user. The caller continued yelling at the support person, called him/her a liar, and then told him/her that he was neither "bad" nor an "invalid," regardless of what the computer said. Another interesting one I haven't seen posted tells of a caller complaining about their fax program not working. The service person asked if they were following all of the directions, and the caller responded that yes, they were using it properly. They selected "send" from the menu, held a document up against the screen, but still nothing came out at the receiving end.... .
