Hello All.

I think, this message from area COMP.OS.OS2.ADVOCACY seems to be interesting:

[munch..yumm!]

I think IBM should go with OS/2 6.0 for PowerPC. After all:

  Actual version     Named version   Ratio(Actual/Named)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Windows NT 1.0     3.1    ~0.33
OS/2   2.1     2.1    ~1

If we go with NT's ratio, the next version should be around OS/2 6.3.

But hell, if MS can stretch version number conventions, why not have IBM
stretch it a bit more? Like OS/2 12.7 Release 46... Yeah...that sounds really
cool. Or maybe OS/3 2.1? Hmmm...

BTW, no flames please. This was just complete nonsensical waste of bandwidth,
and anyone who flames will receive 20 copies of their flame :)
